I'm catching up finally with all the email submissions people have sent in. I'm sorry about all the delays. I've finally got some time as I'm vacationing in the Outer Banks of NC. The weather is nice but the water is much different from what I'm used to in Rehoboth, DE. I'm disappointed that I will be missing Orson Scott Card's tour in his hometown, Greensboro, NC, as I'm leaving the day before and well, it doesn't help that it would make getting home take three times the amount of time. Who knew that NC was such a big state! I guess that's what happens when you've lived in a small one all your life.
Anywhoo, I added lots of cosplay!

Lately direct linking has become a serious issues with my images. It's bad because it steals other peoples space and bandwidth which they pay for and it slows down the page loading. So I have no instituted a system that will display a watchdog image for anyone who directly links me. This image will display on any image directly linked. Here is an example of someone who was directly linking with the new image. Example here. So please. Stop direct linking and you won't have to deal with this. Thank you.

Ohisashiburi desu! (It's been a while!) I just got back from Katsucon and it was a little disapointing this year. There was a lot of space...and a lot of people...but not enough events and such. And there was a constant line for the dealers room (which was tiny! compared to last year). Sigh. And I'm not even going to start about the "raves."
Anywhoo, I added all of the images of Read or Die cosplayers that I saw at Katsucon. I also added some more torrents, special thanks to Devin. I added a new section with information about the Paper Sisters' names and how they connect to some famous Hong Kong actresses, coincidence? Thank you Carl Chavez.

There is a new R.O.D-the tv- Game! At the moment you can download it via torrent. It's really cute and it's fun to manipulate paper! ^^

AHH! I'm sorry! I've been enjoying summer...finally it is summer! I've been being a camp counselor at an art camp...fun...the kids are 6-8 and they are very, very hyper. It doesn't help that they get more sleep than the counselors but also their lunches are full of sugar. Those gogurts, and lunchables, and fruit snacks, and more. Everything...sugar. The kids are bouncing off the walls all day. I swear, it is so not fair...I think it's obvious who deserves the energy...
Anywhoo, long time no see. ^^;; heh heh. Well lots of updates...going through my to do list. Reorganized the links section although it is lacking still..., added lots of new merchandise information including information about Maggie and Michelle figures, added new wallpaper, and redid the entrance page. ^^

AP exams...x.x... This week has been crazy. The AP English exam was SO hard. x.x The AP Java one was hard too but I definitely think the english one was harder. x.x

Hiya. ^^ The last week was insane with school and such. On Wednesday I went to New York on an art class fieldtrip. It was pretty crazy to say the least... We went to the Metropolitan and the Whitney. The bus ride was very, very long.
The whole time my art teacher kept trying to feed us all these snacks she brought. She had these huge 150 pack boxes of little packages of oreos and crackers. She's so motherly, heehee. So I spent the four and a half hour bus ride sleeping while Rachel and Greg were attacking each other in the two seats in front of me and Takao who was sitting next to me did his math homework. o.o;; We got there and made it into the Met. Greg, Rachel, Takao, and I walked around for a bit and then we went and got hot dogs. heehee.
Then we all had to meet up again...my art teacher was the last one to come back. She was so excited about all the art. The entire trip she was excited. Then we walked to the Whitney, but half way there we realized we were missing two people. o.o;; So we stop and my teacher tried to count us all but she got confused and forgot how many people we started out with so it was all very confusing but then we were all finally counted but we coundn't figure out who is missing. ^^;; So it took a while longer to take role and then we figured out who it was and apparently they had gotten separated and were already at the Whitney. ^^:;
So we all made it there and walked around for a bit but by that time everyone was pretty tired so my teacher decided it was time to head back. We got these dinner boxes when we were back on the bus and they were ... interesting. o.o;; Luckily Rachel had brought lots of Pocky heehee.
The way back was more sleeping but then I was up for a bit and I talked with Takao about R.O.D. Heehee. He's Japanese and likes the show very much. He told me about how there is a place in Tokyo which is like the elevator in the show, but it doesn't have the underground thing. So this whole thing was R.O.D related. XD heehee
Anywhoo, I added new wallpaper and fanart. ^^

Well, I've reorganized the site again... The way it was before was bugging me so well I changed it. ^^;; I finally had some time to work on it... My schedule has been insane. Last weekend I went to Katsucon 10 though which was lots of fun. I was Tohru (from Fruits Basket) again and I got these REALLY CUTE dumpling cats, which are a type of Nyanko (by San-x). They are so adorable.
It seems to be a tradition at Katsucon now that there will be some sort of crazy situation. Last year with the snow and everyone stranded and stuck at one place or another... Well, this year the hotel was evacuated. My friends and I, along with the rest of the convention, were freezing outside the hotel while firetrucks, ambulances, and police began to arrive. Oh my. I then saw someone come out on a stretcher unconscience. o.o;; Rumors were going around that he ODed on crack...and then there was a rumor that a bag of crack was found. That turned out to be flour... I saw it on the elevator and I watched the security person throw it away. I haven't heard anything else about that guy though...x.x;; Well so, eventually we were able to go back into the hotel. Pretty crazy.
Back to R.O.D... I added some new wallpapers, fanart, and other small random things with the reorganization.

I am alive! ^^;; Heh...sorry. Well, my winter break was wonderful...my exams were not...x.x... And now the second semester has started. I like all my classes though! ^^ I got the math teacher I wanted...no more math teacher who is too old to teach... I didn't learn anything math related last semester...and I think my math exam reflected that. x.x *sigh* Shikataganai...
Anywhoo, pretty much I went through all my R.O.D to do list and stuff. I updated odds and ends...um....so nothing too big I guess.
I'm looking forward to Katsucon! XD heehee Well, I hope everyone had nice holidays! ^^

Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is having a nice and relaxing vacation. I have been working loads. o.o;; Break seemed to come so fast this year and it's going by just as quickly. I got a new computer for my birthday/christmas so I am quite excited. It is beautiful. Heehee. Compared to my old computer (now belonging to my brother...heehee ^^;;). Not too much else new. Relaxing from all the stress of school. Ugh. And I have so many assignments to do over break. ugh. x.x

Hey people. I'm updating again so soon! Whee! I didn't get very much homework today...but I'll probably get tons tomorrow. x.x... Not much exciting stuff going on in my life...although I did go see Love Actually. OMG I LOVED that movie SO much. Wow. I LOVE love stories. ^^:; heehee.
So, Read or Dream wise I added new merchandise information which has information about a new Michelle Figure, more images including new manga images and new screenshots, and new wallpapers. Thanks to Justin. ^^
Read or Die wise, I added new fanwork including a new fanart as well as an image of a Royal British Library Task Force badge which was made by Nukki. It's pretty cool! ^^

Heh..I'm alive ^^:; The last month has been filled with school and other various time consuming things. I went to AnimeUSA but by the time I got there, most of the stuff was gone in the dealers room. I saw so little Fruits Basket stuff let alone any R.O.D stuff. But it was still fun. ^^ Although not as good as the first year I went when it was empty but we became friends with everyone there...*memories* Anywhoo, I was Tohru again and my friends were Sana-chan from Kodocha and Mima from Perfect Blue.
Anywhoo...I added more torrents for downloading R.O.D-THE TV-, including some places with German or Thai subs.
I can't believe it's already almost December. Already the malls are so packed with people already shopping for Christmas. Work was hectic today with so many people. The store always had people in it. o.o;; My job is so cool. XD The store has tons of cute stuff, like Pucca, Moshi Maro, Sanrio, and more, plus anime stuff! ^^ heehee.

u.u I am very upset. Somehow my zip drive got messed up or my zip disks got messed up I'm not really sure what happened but I lost my journal and some layouts. ::weep:: Luckily not this one, but I lost my Fruits Basket one which I didn't upload yet. ::tears:: And my journal/diary which I didn't print yet. ::more tears:: *sigh* so much stuff happening. School is so hard. u.u But I am happy. ^^
Halloween was eventful. In Japanese class, my friend decided to play a joke and got these fake blood capsules from where she works and so during the picture page test, she began "coughing up blood." Sensei went crazy. She was running around the room screaming, "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! She is going to die!! She ODed!" Poor Sensei. You could see my friend slightly grinning while Sensei was panicing. Then Sensei figured it out and was annoyed and was like, "Noooo, you play joke!? Not funny!" but she was laughing with the rest of the class. My friend did it again in art class when she was the model and we were drawing her. My teacher was talking as usual, "Mina just looks beautiful in the black, doesn't she? Her hair is framing her face--be sure to get the lights and darks. Fitzy (some boy in the class) I know what you're thinking. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that there is only one main light source." He doesn't look up. My friend begins to cough while my teacher continues talking, "Everyone needs a canvas--I don't want any halos around the figure. Base it with a solid color, a solid color--no halos. I know, Mina, those allergies are terrible. I know it's terrible. All the kids are sick these days, just terrible. My daughter is home sick too. She wasn't feeling well this morning. The dust in the air is just terrible." My friend is still coughing and says while coughing, "I think I'm coughing up blood..." My teacher looks at her and says, "You know what? I think you're right. I think you're right. Ok, that's ok, come down from the chair sweetie, that's it, that's right. Be careful. Don't worry," she address the class, "this happens all the time to kids, don't worry she'll be fine. I know how you kids feel about this, but don't worry she'll be fine," she leads Mina out of the room. A few minutes later they return and my teacher is saying, "That was not funny. That was not funny!" but she was smiling and laughing too. Heehee, my teachers are so great. ^^
Anyway, ^^;; I added new cosplay, fanart, and a link on the main page where the translated Read or Dream manga can be downloaded (Thank you Justin ^^).

Well, I survived the hurricane. I just got my power back a few hours ago. It has been out since Thursday. >< not cool. But I spent the time sleeping and reading, things I never seem to have time to do so it wasn't that bad. What amazed me was how many kids I saw outside playing on bikes and scooters who usually sit inside playing on their video games (like my brother). I didn't know there were so many in the neighborhood. o.o;;
Anywhoo, I've added the links on the Read or Dream index to where you can download the subbed Read or Dream epsiodes and the Single of the ending theme by kazami.

Sigh soo much homework. And so much of everything else. I see why everyone says junior year is the worst. It's not just the extra work load with all the AP classes and such but everything else on top of that. I'm already doing so much... anime club (vp)... Fashion Club website... school newspaper website... author website... working at the store... babysitting... tutoring someone in math... more I can't remember... too sleepy... Maybe that isn't too much. But I feel like X.X... Anywhoo, I've added a new cosplay image!

Hey people! Lots of news! And, the Read or Dream episodes 1 and 2 are available for download from SaiyaMan.NET :: BT RAW / Statistics! (Thank you Ejyanaika!) The episodes are raw and haven't been subbed though. But for those who know some Japanese, it will be daijoubu! heh...^^;; Although I am in Japanese 3 but I didn't really understand it...u.u;;; But actually, at the beginning it is soo funny. Well, anyway I think so. Nenene gets off the plane and Michelle has a welcome sign. Nenene sees it and pushes it away. Michelle introduces herself and then begins to talk about the books but is interupted by Nenene who says quite annoyed, "Atashi wa Nenene. Sumirekawa Nenene." (I am Nenene. Nenene Sumirekawa.) and then points to the sign, "Kore wa 'Nununu'." (This says 'Nununu.') Michelle looks at the sign and thinks, "Eh...Nenene?" and then laughs. Heehee. It might be more funny to me because my friend Kirby mixes up the hiragana characters "ne" and "nu" all the time, too. She asks me which one is which in class all the time. ^^;; Michelle reminded me so much of her. Anywhoo, I am off to watch the second episode! ^^

Well, Otakon was great! We arrived on time for once, but the pre reg line was terribly long. We made it though, and had loads of fun. I cosplayed as Tohru from Fruits Basket along with some of my other friends who were also dressed up as characters from it. The dealers room was great, I got all this cute stuff. ^^ Staying in the hotel room was also a lot of fun, all of us in one room. ^^;; This year we actually got the hotel right near the convention center, instead of 5 blocks away. And we went out for sushi and that was very much fun. ^^ heehee. I was dragged away early Sunday morning though to the beach. X.X But the beach was very relaxing. School is starting soo soon for me. And I haven't finished my annotaing of my summer reading yet. eep x.x;; Anywhoo, I added the photos of the Yomiko's I saw at Otakon to the cosplay section. If you were dressed up as someone from R.O.D, please email me and I'll put your picture up! Thanks! ^^

Hey again. I'm still so glad to be back home. Heehee. I went shopping with my friends yesterday. XD I missed shopping so much. We've been looking for the little raver ring things for the Otakon Rave...but we haven't been able to buy any good ones. We know that Dave and Buster's has them as prizes and they are good ones because they click and stay on without hurting your fingers. So we went there to look but we are not 21 and we lacked a 25 year old...so I had to explain to the skeptical guy at the desk how we were trying to find the rings and that they were special ones.... And amazingly, he let us in! Sadly they were out of them though....u.u;; Heh. Anywhoo, I've added a new cosplay image and updated the Nenene section. I didn't know before David pointed it out to me, but in OVA1, all of the little reminder notes scattered around Yomiko's room are all signed "Nenene," even though she has no appearance in the OVAs.

I'm back from vacation! (Finally...><;; My father, being a biologist, loves nature and it is everything my brother and I do to stop him from insisting on stopping at nature sites...it took us two days to get home...x.x;; Other than that it was ok, I went shopping XD heh...^^;; ) Anywhoo, I've redone the article section as well as added a new article from this issue of NewtypeUSA, which describes the three Paper Sisters. Sorry it has been so long...finally school ended and now on vacation! I've been preparing for Otakon (so much sewing..x.x..) ...coming up so soon! o.o I've also been working at my awesome new job which is at an anime store (with lots of artbooks and more) and other random stuff. News! The R.O.D -Read or Dream- TV series is airing in Japan!! Not too much else....the Read or Die DVD is coming out soon! ^^ (There was an add for it on the back of the newest Animerica, I was so excited!) Oh my god, the past week has been sooo hectic. I was able to set up my email account @cupped-expressions.net!! So far, it has been working great. The only problem I have encountered so far has been trying to email myself using my AOL account...but everyone knows how wonderful AOL is...right. But I did find out that I was forming some sort of loop within my computer or something and that was the cause. My friend who has AOL was able to get an email to me, so I think it's all good! ^^ If anyone is unable to email me here, you can email me at my old email, which I will ocntinue to check but I have a feeling it's going to go down pretty soon...So, my new email is yomiko@cupped-expressions.net! Also, according to the R.O.D official site, it appears that Nenene Sumirekawa is going to appear in the TV series! For more information, please go to the news section. Thank you! Wow it has been such a busy week! So much school work and so much else! I have to give my english speech tomorrow (AHH!!) which is a persuasive speech about how kids are growing up too fast. I hope it will be okay since I am so shy and this is going to be torture to speak in front of the class. u.u ::weep:: And I have a test in AP NSL too tomorrow!! (AHH!) And I've also been doing so much stuff getting ready for the Fashion Show and the Festival of the Arts at my school. My friend is designing clothes and we have to sew 7 outfits in two weeks! (AH!!) And for art, I like to draw small pictures of pixies (which my art teacher doesn't like because they look too much like 'cartoons', I wonder why, heehee), which do not fill up two panels! I told him that it was okay and I didn't need to fill up two, but he said I did....u.u So of course I update this site instead. Heehee. ^^ So...I added a new wallpaper to the Read or Dream downloads section, which was found for me by GuardianofChaos, thank you as always!!! ^^ I also scanned the article from NewtypeUSA, which can be found in the Miscellaneous section, as well as the News section. The article is about the dubbed version of the Read or Die OVA and talks about the voice actors/actresses and has an interview with Amanda Winn Lee, who voice-overs Nancy. Well, I must go paint (since I didn't go on the art fieldtrip on Friday) to make up! ^^;;

It's snowing again today!! This weather is soo weird. It was 70 degrees yesterday, and now it's snowing! o.O The end of the marking period is tomorrow (AH!!) so I have much stuff to do... Although not as much as some people in Japanese class. Most of the class has Fs right now--they plan to make it all up tomorrow. Oh my. Sensei is going to be crazy. Sigh, I completely failed my Chemistry test (which is pathetic since my mother is a chemist and has been helping me...) ::weepweep:: Sigh... anywhoo, I added another cosplay image! ^^ It has Raz and her friends dressed up for Anime Express 2003, where the official United States premiere of "Read or Die" was held. o.o

Well, I made it to Katsucon and back despite the snow storm! It was a lot of fun and my Yomiko costume turned out ok! ^^ Katsucon was great! I got the cutest Belldandy and Keiichi little car-model kit! It's soo adorable! I didn't see very much R.O.D stuff for sale, sold out everywhere I asked. ;_; And on the way back we got stuck in the snow and we had to push the car! Eep! Heh, so anyway, I have added more cosplay images which are of Merle-kun, thank you! Also, the non-existant affiliate link to the R.O.D fanlisting is now working, so all of you R.O.D fans please join that fanlisting!! :D

I am sick. I think I have the flu. ;_; I have a fever and my head is killing me. But anyway, to distract myself, I've updated this site! ^^ heh...I added a new wallpaper by Ned Arons. It's not at the end like where I usually add new wallpapers. I've added it next to his other one. (It's the eigth one from the top and it's pinkish. Just for those of us who get confused...I know I would be. o.@...) Today, before I was feeling not too well, I also worked on my Yomiko costume! It's almost done!! I can't believe Katsucon is less than a week away...o.o;; But did you know that the guy who does Mega Tokyo is going to be there?? Anyway, I'm excited for Katsucon!! ^^

Happy Chinese New Year! Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu!! Sensei drilled that phrase into our head...along with 'nengajou' and that it's the year of the lamb. I swear, Sensei is soo crazy. Well, anyway, I added a Read or Dream Misc Section with articles about the new TV series. I also added some news to the News Section with a summary of the article from NewtypeUSA. I just got home from shopping, and I bought the new NewtypeUSA magazine!! It has a special on Read or Dream so I will be scanning that (tomorrow). I am too tired right now...z.z.... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW SCHEDULE!!! Second semester began today so we got new schedules! Sometimes that's bad though. Guidance (the counselors) is completely booked and over-flowing with people upset about their schedules and wanting changes or who have holes in their schedules or in the wrong level. Students stand for hours in lines (my school is HUGE) waiting to speak with their counselor for just five minutes. It's crazy. But, luckily, I don't have to deal with that (I had problems last year though). Anyway, I added a new section in the downloads section, where you can download Live Journal Icons which were donated by the ever wonderful Meiran! Thank you soo much!!! ^^

Hey everyone! I made the Read or Dream downloads section, which has some icons to download which I made today! It's no longer the Badtz Maru 404! XD I'm going to redo the Read or Dream layout soon, so the updated part for that will not show when I really update. ;_; Gomen... There aren't very many pictures though....and definitly not one which is good for a layout. I'm working on it though. School starts up again tomorrow which means semester break is over and all my wonderful free time to work on this site. >< Jaa for now! ^^

Well, I've got the new layout up for Read or Die, and there are some new features, including this nifty update thing. I'm hopeing that with an easier way to get feedback on Read or Die or this site, there may be more! Feedback, including comments, questions, or whatever, are wonderful and always helpful. Thanks ^^ Anyway, not too much else, just continuing to get ready for Katsucon! I need a red tie...it's harder to find one than it seems! ^^;;
