"Read of Dreams" is a doujinshi (fan comic) written and illustrated by J. Rodriguez of Star Studios.

This is my first attempt at making a manga, or in this case, a doujinshi (a fan based manga). It is something that I've wanted to do for a long time, probably ever since I've started drawing in the anime/manga style. However, I've never made such an attempt until now, because I didn't feel that my skills were far enough along to even attempt it, but now I do. I figured the best place for me to start in this is for a fan made comic.

This picture, is actually the cover for the first chapter of this manga. In the background on the peices of paper floating around, you'll see two doodles, the one that looks like a smiling rabbit is one of my own design. The ohter one, which is actually a cow in sunglasses, is something of my brothers design.

A small irony is about the book in his hand, which is a collection of Japanese short stories that I"ve read in my world literature class called "The Paper Door", which serves as a double meaning since this character is also a paper master.
