First Appearance

Arima gives off the impression that he is perfect and the star student. He is smart and gets great grades and is the top student. He is also a star athlete. All the girls like him and have crushes on him and are constantly sending him letters. He is a role model to everyone and everyone looks up to him.


Family and Past

Arima has not had the best family life. His real parents have a bad reputation. When Arima was little, one of his other aunts said that Arima would grow up to be just like his father. Arima’s adopted parents, his aunt and uncle stood up for him, but because of that mean remark, Arima began to strive to not be a burden to his adopted parents. Arima’s adopted parents love him and support him as if he were their real child. When the principal called Arima and Yukino down to the office, his aunt and uncle supported him and said that he was such a good boy they didn’t mind for him to be with Yukino. His hard family life majorly affected Arima. He wanted to be a good kid and a burden to noone. He chose to go to a free school so his aunt and uncle would not have to pay anything. Also due to his past, he rejects all girls and doesn’t want to be close to anyone.


Meeting Yukino

When Arima met Yukino, he couldn’t help but reveal himself when he saw the real Yukino. He instantly fell in love and he was overwhelmed with emotions. Arima was very shy though to show her how much he loved her. Arima doesn’t like to talk about his past with Yukino which causes her to have to dig a little. She recognizes this and asks him to tell her what he is feeling about his past. Arima also loves Yukino’s family and wishes that he had a family like that. Yukino thinks he is crazy. Yukino opened herself up and brought change to Arima’s life.
