Kunisaki Yukito (国崎往人)
He is poor and travels alone from place to place. His mother entrusted a vague message to him about a certain girl. His mission is seeking out the meaning of it as he continues traveling. He carries with him a puppet which he received from his mother.
Kamio Misuzu (神尾観鈴)
Yukito encounters this girl at the seashore. She is dense and has an attractive air about her but a lot of times she is alone. There is a vending machine at the Takeda store where she buys him her favorite drink, "Dorori Noukou PIICHI Aji" (Dorori Rich Peach Flavor). Misuzu loves dinosaurs and when she is troubled or about to cry she makes the sound of a dinosaur growling, "Gao".
Kirishima Kano (霧島佳乃)
Her parents are gone and she lives with her older sister who is the doctor at the clinic. Yukito meets Kano after encountering Kano's puzzling dog, Potato.
Toono Minagi (遠野美凪)
She is a beautiful girl and always plays with Michiru quietly and calmly. Her personality is to not show her feelings on the surface.
Kamio Haruko (神尾晴子)
She is Misuzi's mother. Since she is out a lot, there is little conversation between parent and child. Every night Haruko is a heavy drinker and Yukito has a socialable evening drink with her.
Kirishima Hijiri (霧島聖)
She is the doctor of the Kirishima Clinic and older sister to Kano.
Michiru (みちる)
Michiru's best friend is the beautiful and calm Minagi. Michiru is a little rowdy and full of energy. Michiru yearns to be like Minagi from the bottom of her heart. They always play together infront of the uninhabited station. Yukito appears to be Michiru's natural enemy and they dispute somewhat violently.
Potato (ポテト)
Potato is a puzzling creature. It says a mysterious sound, "Piko piko" which makes it seem not like a dog. Kano loves Potato and the two can understand each other and communicate.
Tachibana Keisuke (橘敬介)
Shino Saika (志野さいか)
Her favorite is Yukito's sloth plushie and she clings to it. She is 6 years old.
Shiraho (白 穂)
Minagi's Mother (美凪の母)
She is the mother of Minagi. Her specialty cuisine is hamburgers.
